My taughts for the week ending 08 Aug

One more week goes by and nothing much to talk about my job and work...Personal Life is going on kind of good and nothing much to complain about. :) I learned a bit of spring and it was good for me...:)

US: I felt happy that Pres. Clinton was able to get the 2 journalist women back home. Their reunion with their families is worth watching..Any ways all is well that ends well. They are back home and I hope this will be the starting point of negotiations between USA and N.Korea. Health care reforms was another thing that took most of the Air time in all the channels this week. All the senators on their summer vacation and lot of town halls happening. I think they will get a good sense of what people really want. But just sitting back and watching is not the way forward. It's time we pass some health care reforms. Lot of people are hurting with no health care. CARS program is a huge success and we need some more programs like that to get people back on to spending spree. Its good to know that Congress is ready to pay 2 million more for that program. I heard car sales are up and its good to know. I kind of have a good feeling about the economy as well. I think the worst is behind us. I saw Oracle of Omaha talking about how this recession changed the way people invested. People are saving more and got into healthy investment habits. California is one of the states which is still hurting. I hope Governor and State senators work out some thing there.

India: Swine Flu cases are raising at an alarming pace and the small girls who recently passed away in Pune with wrong diagnosis is sad to know. Gov should partner with Private hospitals to move forward and get good treatment to people. People also need to be care full and wash their hands often. Aviation industry is not doing too good and Minister coming out and trying to reduce the fuel prices is very very good. I think all the private airlines and Government can work out a deal quickly. Air India also needs a lot of revamping from ground to up. I travelled to India in Air India couple of times and I feel bad saying the service in the flights is pretty bad. Air Hostess does not answer your questions properly and they are not customer friendly. Basic food prices are on a rise and we need to think of ways to reduce the prices so that common people don't hurt.

AP: Devender Goud rejoining TDP is a big joke. What is he trying to achieve? I mean all these politicians are sooo power savvy that they keep moving parties. I mean he left TDP a year ago started his own party and not even six months into a new party he moved to PRP and now he is rejoining PRP. I mean does he think this is a joke? I really feel we should also move towards 2 party system. and we should have well educated people there who make responsible decisions. We should move away from the High Command system and ML A's need to go to their constituencies to know what people really feel before they vote. Assembly sessions have become a joke with all the walkouts and all the cursing that is going on. Grow up our great ML A's. Please try talking about people and raising prices for a change.

That's it for this week. Have a great week ahead.
